The Library of Lost Things Review

Hello, everyone! How are you all this fine Saturday morning? I’m doing well myself as I just completed a really sweet book, which I am about to share with you today. So let’s cut to the chase! Today I bring you The Library of Lost Things by Laura Taylor Namey.

Summary

Darcy Wells is a bonafide bookworm, a literary genius. Since she first learned to read, Darcy has hidden in the words, between the pages, hiding from her mother’s problems. Then Asher Fleet, a boy with a shattered future, steps into her life, and suddenly Darcy can, for once in her life, find the right words to say. But can Darcy learn to step away from the fiction and face the reality?

Evaluation

Darcy’s problems drew me in from the start. I couldn’t wait to see how it would be resolved. And the characters were wonderful and diverse. I especially loved Darcy’s best friend. It was such a sweet story all about letting go and letting in and facing life’s problems head on.

Conclusion

So in conclusion, I really enjoyed this story, so a 4/5 for me! If you enjoy bookworms, moody-but-sweet guys then I recommend this novel, if you don’t mind these of course…

Sensitive Topics

  • Some profane launguage

  • A few party scenes (the two MCs don’t drink though other party goers do)

  • The two MCs walk in on two others making out
