Marrying Lord Dunham was one thing. Calling him Alexander? Another thing entirely.

Once Upon a Rose is a beautiful Beauty and the Beast retelling filled with charm, romance, and just the right touch of magic. Beatrice and Alexander are lovable characters, and their marriage of convenience makes for a heartwarming and entertaining romance. The cozy fantasy vibes, combined with a pet dragon in disguise, made the story even more delightful. I loved how Beatrice’s love for books and her determination brought warmth to Alexander’s world. He if you like fairytale retellings with grumpy/sunshine romance, found family, and a sprinkle of danger, this book is an enchanting and cozy read!
